Teen ‘Loki’ Actor Jack Veal Reveals He Is ‘Homeless’ at 17 and Begs Fans for Help – Details

The 17-year-old played the child version of Tom Hiddleston’s character, Loki, in the action-adventure TV series.

Jack Veal posted videos on TikTok on December 1, 2024, revealing the reason he was homeless and seeking help from empathetic fans.

The actor, who portrayed an alternate version of the titular character in “Loki” season one at age 14 in 2021, revealed that he is no longer living at home due to experiencing physical and emotional abuse.

Veal added that he didn’t have a great upbringing and as a result, struggled with mental health issues including autism and ADHD. He was also screened for bipolar disorder and psychosis. The actor, who has been sleeping in the streets noted, “I have nowhere else to go and I need help.”

The teenager explained that social services have not been of any assistance to him as much as he is under 18. Therefore, Veal was sleeping in a trailer with broken windows and a few of his belongings, which he showcased in the video. “I’m desperate,” he pleaded.

He shared that insecurity was a concern due to the trailer’s location and that the place was also far from his workplace. The trailer also has no electricity, so he depends on a power bank. Due to the severity of his circumstances, he implored, “I’m on my knees, begging, for this, for you guys to just share this, do something, spread the message of how the government are treating kids.[sic]”

Veal expressed that he needed hope and asked people to share his video. He clarified that he wasn’t asking for payments but wanted the video to go viral to raise awareness about his situation. Fans shared heartfelt reactions after the actor revealed how he was homeless.

One user expressed sorrow, “This breaks my heart. I’ve reposted, lad. The “Peripheral” actor later shared another short video updating fans about his situation. He mentioned that the weather was becoming colder but said he was actively pressuring social services for help, although no guarantees were made.

However, he said that he would be spending the night at a friend’s home. As much as Veal is still homeless, he expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and acknowledged the attention his story had garnered online.

In a follow-up video hours later, an emotional Veal shared a hopeful update, revealing that social services had reached out to schedule a meeting about potential foster care and accommodation. He expressed immense gratitude for the overwhelming support.
