However, after being honked at to get out of the road one day, Daddario realized, “the logical conclusion of not telling people you’re pregnant is… no one knows you’re pregnant.”
In the same interview, which took place in July of this year (2024), Daddario divulged, “I feel like now that I’m pregnant and it’s all successful and everything’s healthy, I shouldn’t complain.”
The actress went on to clarify how elated she was to be pregnant but admitted that she didn’t allow herself to feel that joy for a long time.
“Well, I had been pregnant. I had a loss. It’s long and complicated, so I don’t want to be too specific. Those kinds of losses and trauma are very hard to explain unless you’ve been through them,” revealed Daddario of past experiences.
She continued, “I really relate to all the women who have been through those kinds of things in a way that I didn’t understand fully before. It’s very, very painful.”
Sometime after the interview, Daddario welcomed a beautiful baby on Halloween. On October 31, she took to Instagram to share a photo of the baby cozied up in a blanket, lying in a bassinet, and covered with tiny pieces of candy. “I thought this was a weird bowl of candy,” quipped the doting mom in the caption.
Her followers flooded her post’s comment section with well wishes and praises. “Another gift to humanity has been birthed! Grats [sic]!! ❤️,” swooned a fan, while another gushed, “Umm you look amazing and don’t look like you just had a baby! In November, Daddario shared a heartwarming mirror selfie of her holding the baby, who was snuggled up on her chest.
“I play a witch on TV and gave birth on Halloween, but nothing could have prepared me for the magic, and scares, of postpartum. THIS is what it looks like for me 6 days after giving birth to my magical little baby,” captioned the star in her caption.
