Jason’s Daughter’s Birth
In an interview, Jason shared how he nearly missed the birth of his first child, Lola, in 2007. At the time, he was in Canada and almost missed her arrival because he was asleep.
Recalling the day, the actor said, “It was the hottest day, July 20,” when Lisa’s water broke unexpectedly. “There was no air-conditioning in these places, so I was sleeping in the front window. I missed about seventy calls. And I woke up and freaked the [expletive] out,” he explained.

Now nearly eighteen, Lola stands just below her father’s six-foot-four frame. Before taking a look at her current appearance, let’s see how she has transformed over the years.
Lola in 2016
Jason frequently shares images of his children online. In June 2016, he posted an adorable family picture on Instagram, showing himself and Lisa hugging and cuddling their young children.
Captioning the photo, the actor wrote, “Proud papa. @zozobear121 missing mama bear. But finally with my babies Summer is going to be epic PapaSauvage and da rascals [sic].” The following month, he shared another post highlighting his children during an outing.
In November 2016, he posted a throwback image of himself sitting and smiling in a chair with both children lying on him. The photo hinted on how Lola was well on her way to becoming tall.
Lola in 2017
While both children looked more shy and reserved in 2016, by 2017, Lola and her brother appeared less reserved. In one image, Jason carried his children in his arms while standing in front of a stage. The trio sported tribal tattoos and posed with their tongues out.
For the picture’s caption, Jason wrote, “‘I simply love you more than I love life itself’ listening to Elton with the loves of my life. Raising sensitive savages Priceless day on set proud to be aqua papa. OHANA. [sic]”
Lola in 2018
In March 2018, Lola showed her playful side by making a funny face with her father in an Instagram post. They posed next to a picture of someone the actor described as his hero.
Later that year, Lola met Chris Pratt, and in the same image her father shared she appeared to blush. Everyone else in the picture smiled happily as they posed.
But during the premiere of Jason’s “Aquaman,” she stood taller than her mother, bearing a striking resemblance to her.
She looked a lot like her mother while standing next to her father and brother.

Jason captured the moment they thanked an “uncle” for the gifts at a skate shop.
Lola’s activism also shone through in 2019 when she joined her father and brother to peacefully protest against TMT. The trio posed together making pyramid signs with their hands.
Later, they continued celebrating her birthday at Disney’s venue while watching “The Lion King.” Their father thanked Disney and it’s studios on their behalf for allowing them to have his daughter’s party at their venue.
By September, Lola was shoulder-height to her father as they posed in matching Da Hui outfits. The little girl looked more and more like her father, while her brother seemed to favor their mother.
Lola in 2020
In February 2020, Lola smiled alongside her father, brother, and Dave Bautista. The following month, Jason posted an Instagram video of her navigating a bike challenge during quarantine.
He captioned the post, “LOLA’s MANANALU CHALLENGE quarantine training. i want to be my kids when i grow up. 😍😍😍😜😜😜aloha j.”

In the video, the little girl road a bike while facing some obstacles like drinking a soda and throwing an ax at the same time.
During an interview that year, Jason confessed that he cried when his daughter turned 13. He also hilariously confessed that the pink scrunchy he used to tie his hair was his and not his daughter’s.
Although it’s quite evident from his posts, the actor also admitted to acting tough on shows like “Game of Thrones.” He explained, “I may look big and tough, but I’m not,” adding, “I’m nothing like Khal Drogo. I’m not even the king of my own house! I’m absolutely terrified of my wife.”
The actor reflected on how close his family became during the pandemic, saying, “We’ve all gotten so much closer.” When he wasn’t riding old Harley Davidsons through Topanga Canyon or working, he spent time playing with Lola and his son or rock climbing.
Describing his family dynamic, he shared, “My wife is very sophisticated and smart and [our kids and I are] kind of like animals that need to be trained a little better.” He added, “I’m constantly a work in progress, and I’ve just been trying to get better as a father and a husband.”
Speaking about his famous stepchild, Zoë Kravitz, Jason revealed he was the “house worrier” when she started dating, while her father, Lenny Kravitz, played it cool when she started bringing her boyfriends home.
He confessed to being “baffled” by Lenny’s behavior, describing the musician as “way cooler than I am.” Jason revealed that part of the reason for him crying when Lola turned 13 was because he knew at one point, she will start dating and he’ll panic.

He admitted, “I’m not going to do well with it. I’ll just hate it if she brings home some [expletive] bad boy.” His hopes are that she’ll get attracted to someone who is as devoted to her as her mother.
Jason stated, “I’m like, ‘If you find a man who treats you better than I [treat Bonet], good luck!'” He wanted her to find a nice, modern guy, someone like him.
Lola in 2021
In September 2021, Lisa’s daughter showcased her athletic side while posing with boxing gloves in a gym with her father, brother, and a fourth person. Being the only girl in the group didn’t intimidate the little girl who had her mid-section visible in the gym.
Later that month, she attended the “No Time To Die” movie screening where she and Nakoa-Wolf got to meet Billie Eilish. The siblings smiled happily as they posed with the musician on the red carpet.
Lola in 2022
In March 2022, Lola was clearly growing into herself as she attended the screening of Zoë’s “The Batman,” where she and her brother met the film’s stars. The siblings also got to pose alongside a replica of their older sister’s Cat Woman suit.
A few months later, Lola and her brother were back to their activism alongside their father. They took part in an United Nations Ocean Conference, with Jason writing, “Papa loves you babies mahalo for standing by my side.”
Lola had grown to a little above her father’s shoulders when they were seen leaving the venue of the conference. It was easy to see how the teenager took on some of her mother’s looks as she grew older.
Lola and her brother were now used to being on the red carpet by November. Jason and his daughter stuck their tongues out while posing for pictures at the Los Angeles premiere of his movie, “Slumberland.”

During an interview that year, the actor opened up about his children’s bedtime rituals and the 1990s sitcom they were binging together. He revealed, “When they were young, it was beautiful because we’d tell stories and have wrestling matches and do all kinds of fun, cute things, but now my children are 15 and 13½, so they generally watch something.”

Jason explained, “So the things we’ve been watching are pretty funny. My daughter’s massively into ‘Friends’ It’s a trip to watch what I probably watched when I was a kid, now that my daughter loves this show. So, I’m totally submerged back into ‘Friends.'”
The trio then moved along to “Seinfeld,” with the star adding, “So, it’s kind of fun that they actually like 90s pop culture [and] sitcoms.”

In 2023, the United Nations shared the 2022 throwback picture of Jason with his children at the Ocean Conference and a representative for the organization at the Ocean Conference. The foundation thanked the actor for being an Advocate for Life Below Water.
